Water Monitoring
Four times a year our Mad River chapter visits six locations across the Mad to keep an close eye on our unique ecosystem we are lucky enough to enjoy!
Youth Programs
Developing the next generation of conservation leaders by connecting students with their our incredible watersheds here in Ohio.
Stream Restoration
For many years our Mad River chapter has been involved in stream restoration and stabilization on the Mad River.
River Cleanup
Twice a year our Mad River chapter visits several heavily impacted sites to pick up trash and clean up the areas.
Adopt-A-Bridge
In recent years the volume of “OPEN DUMPING” of larger household items has increased, especially at certain bridges.
About Us
The Mad River Chapter is an active group with a main focus to study, protect and restore the Mad River, the principal trout stream of Ohio. The group also has an interest in all of Ohio’s coldwater fisheries and their watersheds. We are not into having a lot of meetings, we fish and we work on the Mad
